Albert Cheung is a New York based photographer specializing in architectural photography, and has expanded his diverse work into travel, documentary, and commissioned portraiture.
After earning a professional degree in architecture from Cornell University, Albert spent several years as a designer for architects, including I.M. Pei /Pei Partnership (The Louvre, Paris). Concurrently, his photographic style reflects his formal training in spatial composition and perspective, while incorporating a sensibility that connects the viewer to the emotion of a scene. Notable publications include the New York Times, AFAR, Interiors Magazine, and his work has been published in the US/UK/Australia.
Albert is also Partner/Founder of FRAME, a New York commercial photography studio collective. He resides in his hometown of Queens, New York with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to discover the best pizza, lego-building, and playing hit-radio tunes on the piano.
